Iliya M. Fridman
Prior to founding Fridman Law Group in 2004, Iliya was an associate at DeForest & Duer (now a part of Anderson Kill & Olick) where he worked on a wide array of complex legal issues facing technology and newmedia companies, including venture capital transactions and intellectual property protection and licensing. Admitted to the New York bar in 1999, Iliya is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Iliya earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Connecticut College and J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. Born and raised in Moscow, Iliya is fluent in Russian.
Jesseca Salky joined Fridman Law Group in September 2011. She received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law (cum laude) in May 2011, where she served as a research assistant at the Samuelson-Glushko Intellectual Property and Information Law clinic. Prior to joining the Fridman Law Group, Jesseca worked for eight years in book publishing, first at Random House and then as a literary agent. Jesseca’s prior legal experience includes extensive contract work for authors, both as Contracts Manager at Russell & Volkening, Inc. and as agent and principal at Hannigan Salky Getzler Agency. Jesseca holds a B.A. from Northwestern University.
Phil became an associate for Fridman Law Group in September of 2012 after graduating from Brooklyn Law School with a concentration in information law and intellectual property. In law school, he served as an Executive Articles Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. Phil is also an alum of Brooklyn Law’s Incubator and Policy Clinic, where he worked closely with pre-seed technology startups on corporate structuring, intellectual property, and contracting. Phil earned his B.A. from Boston University. In his spare time, Phil is an entrepreneur, a DJ, and an avid runner.
